Shipping Policy

At Family Saunas, we partner with specialized carriers to ensure your premium infrared sauna arrives safely.

1. Shipping Cost

  • Standard Ground & Freight Shipping: FREE on all orders within the Contiguous United States.
  • Excluded Areas: We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, or international addresses at this time.

2. Order Processing & Delivery Timeline

To provide transparency, we break down our delivery times into Handling Time (warehouse prep) and Transit Time (time on the road).

  • Order Cutoff Time: 3:00 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Standard Time (Seattle).
  • Handling Time: 3 to 10 Business Days (Monday – Friday).
  • Transit Time: 3 to 15 Business Days (Monday – Friday).
  • Total Estimated Delivery Time: 6 to 25 Business Days.

Note: Custom orders, such as Leisurecraft, or backordered items may have extended lead times (Handling time: 3 to 45 days, Transit time: 3 to 20 days. We will contact you via email if your specific model requires this additional time. Additionally, the product listing will give an estimated time. 

3. Shipping Methods & Freight Delivery

  • Small Items: Shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
  • Large Saunas: Shipped via professional freight carriers (LTL).
  • Curbside Delivery: Standard delivery is 'Tailgate Delivery.' Customers are responsible for offloading the unit from the trailer. If you require a Liftgate Service to lower the unit to the ground, please contact us prior to shipping (additional fees may apply).

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order departs our fulfillment center, you will receive a shipment notification email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website.

5. Delays & Damaged Shipments

While we strive for punctuality, logistics can be affected by weather or carrier constraints. If your shipment is significantly delayed, we will notify you via email.

Important: Please inspect your delivery upon arrival. If the packaging appears damaged, please note this on the driver’s delivery receipt before signing and contact us immediately.
